Meet Our Therapist

Manisha Grewal

​I am an experienced therapist of South Asian descent and I bring to the table the richness of three cultures, four languages, and the rare lens of being both a first- and third-generation immigrant. My lived experience—and the ways culture, society, and gender roles have shaped my own life—allows me to meet you with genuine understanding, whatever your background or story.

When you step into therapy with me, you will find a calm, safe, and judgment-free space where your voice matters most. I will listen closely, honour the wisdom you already carry, and collaboratively curate a plan that aligns with your goals and values. Whether you’re untangling anxiety, navigating life's challenges, or delving into your inner landscape to discover the various facets which shape who you are, we’ll walk that path together—blending evidence-based tools with heartfelt curiosity and compassion.

I have supported clients from many cultural, spiritual, and religious backgrounds, and I proudly stand as an ally to LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. In my practice, I take a compassionate, client-centered, and culturally sensitive approach, weaving safety into each session so you can feel safe enough to explore, heal, and thrive.

Credentials

Manisha has over 10 years of experience in the medical field and has undergone rigorous training as a physician, with a focus on psychiatry. She also holds a Honours Degree in Psychology, and a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology.

Her unique blend of experience and education fuels her understanding of the intricate connections between mental well-being, physical health, emotional stability, and overall quality of life. Her knowledge of the art and science of well-being informs her therapeutic style which is rooted in a holistic framework, allowing for more comprehensive and integrated care tailored to your unique needs.

​​​Manisha is currently licensed with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

Individual Psychotherapy

Our individual psychotherapy service is offered virtually for adults aged 18+ and it consists of 50-minute online therapy sessions with your therapist. These sessions are tailored to address your unique concerns and assist you in navigating life's challenges. This is a safe space in which you will find empathetic, compassionate, and collaborative care, fostering healing, growth, and a more balanced, resilient life.​​​​

Common Queries

Insurance Billing

We do not direct bill insurance companies. Clients are required to pay for sessions out of pocket. However, we will provide you with a detailed invoice which you can submit to your insurance provider for compensation. Please check with your insurance provider prior to starting therapy in order to ensure coverage.
